We will be trying something a little different for the Book Discussion Group in December. With everyone’s busy schedules, we thought we might try a short story this time. Pop in and grab a copy of O. Henry’s classic, “The Gift of the Magi,” or just read it online at www.gutenberg.org (a fabulous online collection of free materials that are in the public domain). The story is only about 4 pages long, and such a lovely holiday tradition. Then swing by the library and we will discuss the story. You are also invited to bring a plate of a dozen or so cookies, if you would like to participate in a cookie exchange! Read the story, bring a friend!
