The Book Discussion Group title for February is The Tiger’s Wife by Tea Obreht. Here’s the opening line: “In my earliest memory, my grandfather is bald as a stone and he takes me to see the tigers. He puts on his hat, his big-buttoned raincoat, and I wear my lacquered shoes and velvet dress. It is autumn, and I am four years old.” Stop by and pick up a copy.
Cross Country Skiing Feb 13, 2016 from 01:00 PM to 03:00 PM Library grounds,
Who wants to ski with us?? Let's embrace winter and take a try at cross country skiing here on the library grounds this Saturday, February 13 from 1-3pm, weather permitting. We will provide the skis and the cocoa, you provide the enthusiasm! Novices are encouraged! There is no fee, but we do ask that you call the library by Friday at noon to reserve a space...we just need to know your shoe size and height. Don’t forget your mittens!
